Kubota Red Lamp, Not Start, Beeper solved

Hello colleguas! We have developed Stage1 SCR/DEF DPF EGR off solutions for 90% types kubota engines.

Many tractors and other machines with kubota engine often has problem with SCR DPF EGR components. For example DPF problems:

DPF system has 3 types fill status:

  • Level 1 – Green. DPF filter is filled above 26000mg, regeneration will occur automatically if there are suitable engine modes during tractor operation. The driver is not notified, it is expressed only through diagnostics with the error code DTC P3006
  • Level 2- Yellow. DPF filter is filled above 31000mg, forced regeneration is urgently required. The DTC code is P3007. It is turned by driver compartment with a button, and the tractor will fry its diesel fuel for 0,5-3 hours. But how many owners of such equipment have read the manuals? And from those who read, did you forget to follow the hired drivers so that they regenerate the DPF filter? Therefore, the next level often comes.
  • Level 3 – Red. DPF filter is filled above 36000mg,  in the cabin beeper is ON, red DPF error lamp is ON. DTC P3008. Limited power and the tractor can’t use. What now? Replacement of the diesel particulate filter with original new serial number (~4000$) and reset from the Kubota dealer scanner. 

At this momement we can solve all types. Need make remap ECU and sometimes DCU (SCR unit).

Kubota ECU – DENSO can be GEN1 SH7058(1mb)/SH7059(1.5mb) and GEN2 SH72xxx(2mb) processors. Read/Write full dump and maps only via MMCFlash:

Also request EEPROM work. It makes via scaner with reset function or we make directly CLEAR EEPROM ECU dump from readed ORI EEPROM.

Instruction PCMFlash Module 64 – Mitsubishi Fuso Canter

Foreword about EDC7C4-6/EDC16C31:

1) It’s the same thing, it’s actually an EDC7 in an EDC16 case. Euro 3 and 4 toxicity standards. In these ECUs, SOFTWARE updates were not initially planned at all. In the first cars of 2007 (?) year (right hand drive), the bootloader area does not contain programs for this mode of operation. Trucks of the next years of production already contain everything needed, but it is implemented on a residual basis, apparently no one was going to use it. And they don’t use it. Here is for work with this curvature and was made module.

2) ECUs are of two types: only K-line (OBD plug has k-line and works identification and diagnostics) and CAN (OBD plug has CAN and k-line, but k-line NOT connected to ECU). All CAN ECUs also support k-line reprog, but of course, when directly connected to the ECU.

3) Can ECUs – the most unpleasant in the work, because there reprog is made crooked, so that the speed of the CAN-BUS does not coincide with the working speed. Therefore, if the truck is equipped with a tachograph or a robotic gearbox (perhaps something else), programming on the CAN-BUS in the truck will not be POSSIBLE. In this case, you will get an error when entering programming mode, and the ECU will “stop communicating”. In fact, everything is fine with it, if you unplug and connect back the battery terminal, it will “return”. To program such blocks, you will need to remove it and connect it directly to the ECU (can or K-line). Solution: after turning on the ignition, pause for 30 seconds before pressing OK.

4) All 24V units on the table normally work from 12V. Tactrix Open Port 2.0 does not formally support working at a voltage of 24 V, but You can do this at your own risk, provided that the truck will not start, and the battery is slightly low…

5) PCMFlash read from these ECU full dump! In the file will external and internal flash. Writing also full dump! Warning.

About EDC17. Read only the maps area. Recording – depending on the file, if it is possible to record the entire software, PCMFlash will ask about it. You can use files read in BSL. There are no special features for working with these ECUs

You should not count the mod file checksum! The most common problem with EDC16 is recalculating compatibility checksum for writing via BDM.

Instruction PCMFlash Module 58 – VAG DSG/CVT

Module 58, designed to work with the ECU, DSG and CVT. Work on OBD: as usual with other packages, there are no features, in case of recording interruption, you can turn off the ignition, then just record. In the case of “bricking” unsuccessful you can rewrite in the BOOT.

Work BOOT: use a direct connection to the connector of the control UNIT, the switching power supply is carried out either manually or (recommended) by using the scheme of automatic power control, powered by L-line (same PowerBox or converted from KESS). In case of manual control, the entrance to the boot mode may not happen on the first attempt.

Read DQ500: only when connected directly! NOTE: the power supply must be switched manually, while only the ignition must be switched on or off (pin 15), the second contact must be connected constantly!

Operation in BSL with VL300 / V30: requires drilling a single hole in the minimum diameter cap in order to insert a needle into it. Needle through a resistor 1 kOhm is connected to the mass. It is mandatory to connect to-line and it is highly recommended to use auto power to quickly “feel” the pin on the Board. The photos below show the drilling location and the point on the Board where the needle should go.

Instructions for use:

Work on OBD (can read / write the working SOFTWARE, access to EEPROM is not supported): with Ford vehicles can work on OBD protocols supported GGDS and KWP. C Volvo, JLR-fresh cars are supported via GGDS.

Attention: writing in vbf files and also converting them is not SUPPORTED. The problem is that the update requires a sequential write of three (?) files to be held in the same session, which the loader does not support.

Work in Boot-requires a direct connection to the connector. In this mode, you can access both the internal memory of the processor and the external EEPROM. Ie you can make a full clone of TCM. Work in BOOT mode is possible in the car, but you need to try and get used to it. To successfully enter the mode, you must enable recovery mode and select manual power management. The ignition is switched on at the request of the program. Performance in this mode is not guaranteed.

A few words about cloning when replacing the TCM. The hardware number is engraved on the TCM in the area of the loop attachment to the Board, but to see it you need to Unscrew the hydroblock. The room has a view of 7M5R-14C247-xx. The same number will be visible when reading the EEPROM. Performance is guaranteed only if the number matches, otherwise – as luck would have it. The most recent revision for the TCM of the first generation has a number 7M5R-14C247-FA. In principle, those who are engaged in repair, already have experience.
